As a local nonprofit, the Anchorage Concert Association is looking for creative ways to stretch its marketing budget. Social media seemed like an inexpensive, highly effective way to market an organization. ACA took the plunge 7 months ago – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. How has the ACA benefited from this new undertaking? ACA executive director Jason Hodges and marketing director Jason Grenn will tell the story of how a local non-profit learned the value in social media beyond event announcements. ACA and the marketing department are now getting instant and honest feedback from the community, engaging ticket holders, and making new friends on a daily basis.
