February 24th, 2009 . by infoPlease Join us for our next AMA Luncheon on Thursday, March 12th with our featured speaker Marilyn Crockett, Executive Director of the Alaska Oil and Gas Association.
The Alaska Oil and Gas Association is a trade association whose members represent the majority of oil and gas exploration, production, transportation, refining and marketing activities in Alaska. Established in 1965, the goal of the association is a vital oil and gas industry that contributes to a vibrant economy for Alaska.
Marilyn will discuss AOGA’s recent efforts to educate Alaskans about the industry in Alaska and the role it plays in Alaska’s economy, utilizing the results of a 2008 study which analyzes the economic impacts in six different regional areas of the state.

Parking advice for the Dena-ina Center:
Dena’ina is at 600 West 7th Avenue between F and G Street. There is some metered street parking available around the building. Better and less expensive parking at $1 per hour is at the 6th Avenue Garage (connected to the People Mover Terminal). Other choices include the 7th Avenue Garage after 3pm, and the JC Penney Garage.
